Samurai Sword Training

In this class, students learn sword movements and footwork with aerobics music in the background. Iaido (the art of drawing the sword), forms, and self-defense with the boken (wooden sword) and Shinai (bamboo sword) are practiced all while achieving a great workout. This course is modeled after Taebo, CardioKarate, and other exercise classes that utilize martial arts movement. The class includes putting on Kendo armor and actually fighting with the bamboo sword.
